TENDER NOTICE FOR THE SUPPLY OF LIVE COWS AND GOATS.

BID ANNOUNCEMENT
Direct aid is an international NGO established in Kuwait in 1981 providing humanitarian Services more than 30 countries in Africa. It contributes to alleviating poverty, diseases, illiteracy and by focusing on food security, education, health and social areas of operation.
DirectAid- Rwanda office plans to buy and distribute breeding animals to the vulnerable families in some districts in Rwanda.
And hereby invites potential suppliers to submit a sealed tender in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase as described hereunder:

| 1. | Cows (GIRINKA PROGRAM) | Be healthy;Be between 24 and 30 months old;Be a crossbreed of Jersey or Friesian and have at least 50% exotic blood and above;Have good body condition and weight (230 kg minimum for Jersey and 280 kg for Friesian;Be examined and found to be pregnant i.e. 3-4 months;Have no visible defects;Be easy to handle;Show signs of good health and no contagious diseases. |
| 2. | Goats ( ihene zo Korora) | All the goats that will be supplied should be of female local breed and ready for mating.All goats should be in a good health condition (good quality, strong, vaccinated, insured and tested as requested by competent authority |
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested bidders must submit the following mandatory documents. Failure to submit any of the documents listed below shall result in automatic disqualification:
- Valid Business License
- VAT Registration Certificate
- Tax Clearance Certificate for the most recent tax period
- Company Profile clearly indicates:
- Company address and official contact details
- Proof of Relevant Experience, including:
- Documentary evidence in the form of signed contracts, purchase orders, delivery certificates, or reference letters from previous clients
PRICING
The prices should be per one animal head.
Delivery:
- the winner will be responsible to deliver cows and Goats to different Place of program implementation as it will be mentioned in the contract.i.e.,
- 1.Bugesera District
- 2. Gasabo District
- 3.Gatsibo District
Bid submission deadline: 08/10/2026 at 16:00 pm
Sealed bids must be submitted in the locked box arranged for the purpose at the Direct Aid Head office in Kiyovu, KN16/13, near Nobilis Hotel.
No bids will be accepted after the specified closing time.
Bids will be opened on 09/10/2026 at 10:00 am
Interested bidders or their representatives will attend.
