About the Role

The Public Relations & Marketing Officer is responsible for driving brand awareness, lead generation, and all marketing activities for Capitalist SL Rwanda. This person represents the Company in the market, manages all communication channels, and builds strong relationships with clients, media, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

  • Outreach to potential clients Follow up on leads and prospects and record all outcomes in the Company systems

Client Outreach

  • Attend business events, trade fairs, and networking meetings to represent the Company

Digital Marketing

Public Relations

  • Arrange radio mentions, TV features, podcast appearances, and press coverage for Capitalist
  • Draft and distribute press releases, company announcements, and promotional communications
  • Represent Capitalist at exhibitions, business forums, and community events

Partnerships

  • Build and manage relationships with business partners, trade associations, and institutional stakeholders. 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Based in Kigali, Rwanda
  • Multilingual — English and Kinyarwanda required; French is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business — or equivalent experience
  • AIOTA Certificate — highly recommended
