Job Description

Overview

Our client, a leading drone delivery and logistics company, is looking for two (2) Facilities Support Leads to oversee the efficient operation of its distribution centers in Muhanga and Kayonza. This role is crucial in ensuring that the company’s facilities run smoothly by managing maintenance, security, administration, and fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, procurement, and logistics, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility Operations & Maintenance: Ensure all necessary maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements are completed on time, keeping the distribution centers in optimal working condition.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee and support cleaners, security personnel, and drivers, ensuring they have the guidance and resources to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Employee Support: Ensure the facility is well-stocked with essentials like drinking water, tea, and other provisions to maintain a comfortable and productive work environment.
  • Fleet & Fuel Management:
    • Coordinate vehicle dispatch and scheduling to support operations effectively.
    • Ensure company vehicles are fueled, maintained, and serviced regularly.
    • Track fuel consumption and plan for fuel needs in advance to avoid shortages.
  • Safety & Security Compliance: Maintain strict security measures within the facility to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, fleet conditions, facility needs, and procurement requests. Provide regular updates to management.
  • Procurement Coordination: Work closely with procurement teams to ensure all facility-related supplies are available and replenished when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facility management, logistics, procurement, or operations.
  • Strong ability to coordinate and manage teams, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Rwanda.
