Our client, a leading drone delivery and logistics company, is looking for six (6) Drivers to support operations at its distribution centers in Muhanga and Kayonza. The drivers will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of staff, guests, and equipment, contributing to the smooth execution of logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles (shuttles, vans, or trucks) to transport employees, stakeholders, and materials while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure passengers are properly secured and briefed on safety procedures.
  • Operational Support: Assist with loading and unloading equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with the operations team to coordinate transport schedules efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Category D Driving License (must be held at the time of application).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation or supply chain management, preferably in medical deliveries or public transportation.
  • Clean driving record and strong understanding of road safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic English proficiency for clear communication with stakeholders and team members.
  • Defensive driving certification is an added advantage.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or a certificate in automotive maintenance is a plus.
