Job Summary
The Assistant Storekeeper supports the Storekeeper in receiving, storing, and issuing hotel supplies. The role ensures items are properly arranged, recorded, and issued to departments as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and checking delivered goods.
- Help arrange and store items properly in the store.
- Issue items to departments as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Assist in stock counting and report shortages or damages. Perform any other duties assiged by the Storekeeper.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Stores Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in storekeeping or a related role (hotel experience is an advantage).
- Basic record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Honest, reliable, and willing to learn.
