Job Summary
The Front Office Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring smooth front desk operations. This role involves welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling inquiries, and coordinating with internal departments to deliver a seamless guest experience. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
- Handle room reservations, modifications, and cancellations when required.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in a front office or customer service role (hospitality preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.
