Job Summary
The Operations Manager will be the primary growth driver in the Mali market. The Operations Manager will be ChopLife Gaming’s key representative in Liberia, in a role responsible for developing, driving, coordinating, executing, and following up on strategy for the market in an effective manner.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of the company with all relevant authorities
- Ensure proper running of the office & ensure all office supplies are replenished
- Coordinate with other department leads to ensure seamless operation
- Ensure all company records are well maintained & updated on cloud
- Ensure proper communication with the regulating authority
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting process
- Optimize budget allocation based on performance and data analysis
- Prepare monthly payroll & assist in payroll reconciliations
- Filing and payment of payroll & statutory taxes
- Maintain the company asset register
- Maintain marketing reporting for insights and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with Brand team and media agency for digital campaign planning and execution
- Human resource management – prepare staff contracts & any other communications to staff, maintain a leave schedule, assist in recruitment etc.
- Increase management’s effectiveness by recruiting, training, and coaching personnel. This includes communicating values, strategies, and objectives, assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, developing incentives, and developing a climate for open collaboration and respect
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive management information within the timescales
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, engineering, law or finance
- Proven success managing a P&L and a team;
- Proven experience in budget forecasting and implementation;
- Experience in working in an international environment across locations, teams, and functions;
- Knowledge of business and management principles and legal practices
- Knowledge of strategic planning and taxes
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures.
- Experience in Betting is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
