Job Summary
Ensures acquisition, management, and retention of target business banking customers by providing excellent financial products and services, while minimizing risk and enhancing customer value.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Acquire and develop business banking customer relationships
- Manage credit processing, appraisals, and risk monitoring
- Maintain good customer relations and respond to queries promptly
- Assist in preparing team budgets and periodic reports
- Support Relationship Manager in credit committee meetings and approvals
- Achieve PBT, balance sheet, and other performance targets
- Perform other duties as assigned by Relationship Manager
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new accounts acquired, PBT and balance sheet targets
- Quality of credit portfolio, NPL ratio, and loan recovery
- Customer satisfaction, retention rates, cross-sell ratios
- Timeliness and accuracy of reports and budget adherence
- Approval turnaround time and compliance adherence
- Revenue growth vs targets and divisional performance
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- First degree (minimum Second Class) in any discipline; relevant Masters or professional certification is an advantage
- 2–3 years relevant banking experience, preferably in financial services marketing
- Financial and market analysis
- Credit risk management & portfolio management
- Banking products and SME solutions
- Customer value proposition & product pricing
- Marketing, trade finance, debt recovery
- Legal & regulatory compliance
- Basic domestic & international banking operations
