Job Summary
The Ticket Reservation Executive is responsible for handling flight bookings, ticketing, re-issuance, cancellations, and customer travel inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The role requires strong knowledge of GDS systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet organizational targets and customer expectations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle domestic and international flight reservations and ticketing.
- Issue, reissue, cancel, and refund tickets in line with policies.
- Manage bookings using GDS systems..
- Provide accurate fare quotations and travel advice to clients.
- Process travel-related documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain proper records of transactions and ensure accuracy in ticket issuance.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups professionally.
- Meet sales and service targets set by management.
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree with GDS certification…
- 2–3 years of experience in ticketing/reservations within a travel agency or airline.
- Strong knowledge of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures.
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (French is an added advantage).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good computer literacy.
