WHY THIS PROGRAMME IS DIFFERENT

Most training ends with a certificate. This one ends with software an employer can open, click through and judge you on.

It also runs inside an HR consultancy. HC Solutions places people with employers every day — that is the core business — and graduates of this programme are introduced into that network.

We do not promise anyone a job. We promise the introduction, the portfolio and the preparation. We would rather say that now than after you have paid.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE BUILT BY MARCH

  • A responsive frontend dashboard
  • A typed React application with a working API layer
  • A secure REST API with authentication for a content platform
  • A real-time chat and task management app
  • A full CI/CD pipeline with a test suite, deployed live
  • Your own capstone product — scoped, built, documented and demoed publicly

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Frontend: HTML & CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, React, TypeScript

Backend & data: Node.js, Express, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JWT & bcrypt

Quality & DevOps: Jest, Docker, CI/CD, Vercel & Render, WebSockets

Ways of working: Git & GitHub, Agile sprints, code review, system design, accessibility

WHO SHOULD APPLY

  • Anyone serious about becoming a developer — no degree in IT required
  • Complete beginners are welcome; so are self-taught developers who want structure
  • You must be able to attend in person in Kigali three evenings a week for six months
  • You need access to a laptop (tell us if that is a problem — we may be able to help)
  • Graduates and job seekers changing careers are strongly encouraged to apply

FEES AND SUPPORT

The fee is 50,000 Rwf per month. A limited number of sponsored places are available that reduce this. If cost is what stands between you and a place, say so in your application — that is what the sponsorship exists for.

HOW TO APPLY

Complete the registration form: https://forms.gle/zuf9BQNSFBBggCzg7

Applications are reviewed as they arrive and places are allocated on a rolling basis, so applying early matters. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by phone or WhatsApp.
