Job Summary
The Procurement & Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and supporting efficient logistics operations. The role requires strong negotiation, organizational, analytical, and record-keeping skills to ensure value for money and uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation.
● Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other contractual conditions with suppliers.
● Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
● Coordinate the timely delivery, receipt, and distribution of goods and materials.
● Work closely with the Stock/Stores team to monitor inventory requirements and replenishment.
● Verify goods received against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
● Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, quotations, and supplier documentation.
● Monitor procurement expenditure and ensure purchases remain within approved budgets.
● Support the identification of cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
● 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement and logistics.
● Experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, and logistics coordination.
● Good knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/inventory management systems.
● Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
● Excellent organizational and communication skills.
