Job Summary

The Stock Manager will be responsible for overseeing the effective management, storage, movement, and control of all stock and inventory. The role will ensure accurate inventory records, minimize stock losses and discrepancies, maintain appropriate stock levels, and ensure that goods are properly received, stored, issued, and accounted for.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage and supervise all stock and warehouse activities.

● Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming goods.

● Ensure all stock received matches purchase orders and delivery documentation.

● Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment.

● Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records.

● Monitor stock movement, including receipts, transfers, and issues.

● Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.

● Monitor expiry dates and apply appropriate stock rotation procedures where applicable.

● Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams regarding stock purchases and inventory valuation.

● Ensure the warehouse/stores area is clean, secure, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.

● Supervise and assign duties to storekeepers or warehouse staff where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

● 3–5 years of experience in stock, inventory, warehouse, or stores management.

● Experience with inventory management systems/ERP systems.

● Strong knowledge of stock control and reconciliation.

● Good numerical and analytical skills.
